Alors les deux partirent. Et après qu’ils furent montés sur un bateau, l’homme y fit une brèche. [Moïse] lui dit : "Est-ce pour noyer ses occupants que tu l’as ébréché ? Tu as commis, certes, une chose monstrueuse !"

{ فَانْطَلَقَا حَتَّى إِذَا رَكِبَا فِي السَّفِينَةِ خَرَقَهَا ْ} أي: اقتلع الخضر منها لوحا، وكان له مقصود في ذلك، سيبينه، فلم يصبر موسى عليه السلام، لأن ظاهره أنه منكر، لأنه عيب للسفينة، وسبب لغرق أهلها، ولهذا قال موسى:{ أَخَرَقْتَهَا لِتُغْرِقَ أَهْلَهَا لَقَدْ جِئْتَ شَيْئًا إِمْرًا ْ} أي: عظيما شنيعا، وهذا من عدم صبره عليه السلام
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
