En vérité, tu ne fais pas entendre les morts; et tu ne fais pas entendre aux sourds l’appel, s’ils s’en vont en tournant le dos.

قوله تعالى : فإنك لا تسمع الموتى ولا تسمع الصم الدعاء إذا ولوا مدبرينقوله تعالى : فإنك لا تسمع الموتى أي وضحت الحجج يا محمد ; لكنهم لإلفهم تقليد الأسلاف في الكفر ماتت عقولهم وعميت بصائرهم ، فلا يتهيأ لك إسماعهم وهدايتهم . وهذا رد على القدرية .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
