Il en est ainsi parce qu’Allah est la Vérité, et que tout ce qu’ils invoquent en dehors de Lui est le Faux, et qu’Allah, c’est Lui le Haut, le Grand.

ذلك أي فعل الله تعالى ذلك لتعلموا وتقروا بأن الله هو الحق وأن ما يدعون من دونه الباطل أي الشيطان ; قاله مجاهد . وقيل : ما أشركوا به الله تعالى من الأصنام والأوثان . وأن الله هو العلي الكبير العلي في مكانته ، الكبير في سلطانه .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
