afin qu’Allah récompense les véridiques pour leur sincérité, et châtie, s’Il veut, les hypocrites, ou accepte leur repentir. Car Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.

ليجزي الله الصادقين بصدقهم أي أمر الله بالجهاد ليجزي الصادقين في الآخرة بصدقهم . ويعذب المنافقين في الآخرة إن شاء أي إن شاء أن يعذبهم لم يوفقهم للتوبة ، وإن لم يشأ أن يعذبهم تاب عليهم قبل الموت . أو يتوب عليهم إن الله كان غفورا رحيما .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
