afin qu’Allah récompense les véridiques pour leur sincérité, et châtie, s’Il veut, les hypocrites, ou accepte leur repentir. Car Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.

قوله - عز وجل - :( ليجزي الله الصادقين بصدقهم ) أي جزاء صدقهم ، وصدقهم هو الوفاء بالعهد ( ويعذب المنافقين إن شاء أو يتوب عليهم ) فيهديهم إلى الإيمان ( إن الله كان غفورا رحيما )
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
