فدعا ربه أي دعا عليهم حينئذ نوح وقال رب أني مغلوب أني مغلوب أي غلبوني بتمردهم فانتصر أي فانتصر لي . وقيل : إن الأنبياء كانوا لا يدعون على قومهم بالهلاك إلا بإذن الله عز وجل لهم فيه .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
