Tel est le commandement d’Allah qu’Il a fait descendre vers vous. Quiconque craint Allah cependant, il lui efface ses fautes et lui accorde une grosse récompense.

{ ذَلِكَ }[أي:] الحكم الذي بينه الله لكم { أَمْرُ اللَّهِ أَنْزَلَهُ إِلَيْكُمْ } لتمشوا عليه، [وتأتموا] وتقوموا به وتعظموه.{ وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَيُعْظِمْ لَهُ أَجْرًا } أي: يندفع عنه المحذور، ويحصل له المطلوب.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
