Ils dirent: "Mais si ! un avertisseur nous était venu certes, mais nous avons crié au mensonge et avons dit : Allah n’a rien fait descendre, vous n’êtes que dans un grand égarement." 1

قالوا بلى قد جاءنا نذير أنذرنا وخوفنا .فكذبنا وقلنا ما نزل الله من شيء أي على ألسنتكم .إن أنتم يا معشر الرسل .إلا في ضلال كبير اعترفوا بتكذيب الرسل ، ثم اعترفوا بجهلهم فقالوا وهم في النار :
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
