يقول تعالى مخبرا عن الذي اعتمده إخوة يوسف بعد ما ألقوه في غيابة الجب : أنهم رجعوا إلى أبيهم في ظلمة الليل يبكون ، ويظهرون الأسف والجزع على يوسف ويتغممون لأبيهم وقالوا معتذرين عما وقع فيما زعموا.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
