Dan jika mereka ditimpa sedikit saja azab Tuhanmu, pastilah mereka berkata, "Celakalah kami! Sesungguhnya kami termasuk orang yang selalu menzalimi (diri sendiri)."

فلو مسهم { نَفْحَةٌ مِنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ ْ} أي: ولو جزءا يسيرا ولا يسير من عذابه، { لَيَقُولُنَّ يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ ْ} أي: لم يكن قولهم إلا الدعاء بالويل والثبور، والندم، والاعتراف بظلمهم وكفرهم واستحقاقهم للعذاب.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
