Se ti danno del bugiardo di’ loro: «A me l’opere mie e a voi le vostre. Non siete responsabili di quello che faccio, non lo sarò io di quel che fate voi».

وَإِنْ كَذَّبُوكَ} فاستمر على دعوتك، وليس عليك من حسابهم من شيء، وما من حسابك عليهم من شيء، لكل عمله. {فَقُلْ لِي عَمَلِي وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ أَنْتُمْ بَرِيئُونَ مِمَّا أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ} كما قال تعالى: {مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِ وَمَنْ أَسَاءَ فَعَلَيْهَا}
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
