Intendevano infatti sviarti da ciò che ti abbiamo rivelato, nella speranza che Ci attribuissi, inventandolo, altro che questo [Corano]. E allora ti avrebbero preso come amico 1 .

আমি তোমার প্রতি যা প্রত্যাদেশ করেছি, তা হতে তারা তোমার পদস্খলন প্রায় ঘটিয়েই ফেলেছিল, যাতে তুমি আমার সম্বন্ধে ওর বিপরীত কিছু মিথ্যা উদ্ভাবন কর; আর তা করলে, তারা অবশ্যই তোমাকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করত।
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
