قالوا ربنا غلبت علينا شقوتنا وكنا قوما ضالين ١٠٦
قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوْمًۭا ضَآلِّينَ ١٠٦
قَالُواْ
رَبَّنَا
غَلَبَتۡ
عَلَيۡنَا
شِقۡوَتُنَا
وَكُنَّا
قَوۡمٗا
ضَآلِّينَ
١٠٦
Risponderanno: «Nostro Signore, ha vinto la disgrazia, eravamo gente traviata.

لما بلَّغتهم الرسل وأنذرتهم قالوا يوم القيامة:
ربنا غلبت علينا لذاتنا وأهواؤنا المقدَّرة علينا في سابق علمك، وكنا في فعلنا ضالين عن الهدى.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
