Quando glielo si recita dicono: «Noi crediamo in esso. Questa è la verità proveniente dal nostro Signore. Già eravamo sottomessi a Lui prima che giungesse» 1.

وإذا يتلى عليهم قالوا آمنا به إنه الحق من ربنا أي إذا قرئ عليهم القرآن قالوا صدقنا بما فيه ( إنا كنا من قبله ) أي من قبل نزوله ، أو من قبل بعثة محمد عليه السلام مسلمين أي موحدين ، أو مؤمنين بأنه سيبعث محمد وينزل عليه القرآن .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
