Non creammo invano il cielo e la terra e quello che vi è frammezzo. Questo è ciò che pensano i miscredenti 1 . Guai ai miscredenti per il fuoco [che li attende] !

قوله تعالى وما خلقنا السماء والأرض وما بينهما باطلا أي هزلا ولعبا . أي : ما خلقناهما إلا لأمر صحيح وهو الدلالة على قدرتنا . ذلك ظن الذين كفروا أي حسبان الذين كفروا أن الله خلقهما باطلا فويل للذين كفروا من النار
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
