come quello del popolo di Noè, degli ‘Âd e dei Thamûd, o di quelli [che vissero] dopo di loro: Allah non accetta che i Suoi servi [subiscano] ingiustizia.

كقوم نوح وعاد وثمود ، والذين من بعدهم من الأمم المكذبة ، كيف حل بهم بأس الله ، وما رده عنهم راد ، ولا صده عنهم صاد .
( وما الله يريد ظلما للعباد ) أي : إنما أهلكهم الله بذنوبهم ، وتكذيبهم رسله ، ومخالفتهم أمره . فأنفذ فيهم قدره ،
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
