Quando colmiamo di favore l’uomo, egli si sottrae e si allontana. Quando invece lo colpisce una sventura, allora invoca a lungo.

﴿وَإِذَاۤ أَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنِ﴾ الجنس ﴿أَعۡرَضَ﴾ عن الشكر ﴿وَنَاۤءَ بِجَانِبِهِۦ﴾ ثنى عطفه متبخترا وفي قراءة بتقديم الهمزة ﴿وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَاۤءٍ عَرِیضࣲ ٥١﴾ كثير
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
