Non hanno viaggiato sulla terra e non hanno visto quale fu la sorte di coloro che li precedettero? Allah li ha annientati. La stessa fine è riservata ai miscredenti.

يقول تعالى : ( أفلم يسيروا ) يعني : المشركين بالله المكذبين لرسوله ( في الأرض فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين من قبلهم دمر الله عليهم ) أي : عاقبهم بتكذيبهم وكفرهم ، أي : ونجى المؤمنين من بين أظهرهم ; ولهذا قال : ( وللكافرين أمثالها )
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
