Non sono altro che nomi menzionati da voi e dai vostri antenati, a proposito dei quali Allah non fece scendere nessuna autorità. Essi si abbandonano alle congetture e a quello che affascina gli animi loro, nonostante sia giunta loro una guida del loro Signore.

এগুলো কতক নাম মাত্র যা তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা ও তোমরা রেখে নিয়েছ; যার সমর্থনে আল্লাহ কোন দলীল প্রেরণ করেননি। তারা তো কেবল অনুমান এবং মনের খেয়াল-খুশীরই অনুসরণ করে, অথচ অবশ্যই তাদের নিকট তাদের প্রতিপালকের তরফ হতে পথ-নির্দেশ এসেছে।
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
