Per coloro che avevano tacciato Shu‘ayb di menzogna, fu come se non avessero mai abitato in quei luoghi. Coloro che tacciavano Shu’ayb di menzogna sono andati in rovina.

ثم قال تعالى : ( كأن لم يغنوا فيها ) أي : كأنهم لما أصابتهم النقمة لم يقيموا بديارهم التي أرادوا إجلاء الرسول وصحبه منها .
ثم قال مقابلا لقيلهم : ( الذين كذبوا شعيبا كانوا هم الخاسرين )
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
