Giurano per compiacervi; quand’anche vi compiaceste di loro, Allah non si compiace degli ingiusti.

وأخبر أنهم وإن رضوا عنهم بحلفهم لهم ، ( فإن الله لا يرضى عن القوم الفاسقين ) أي : الخارجين عن طاعته وطاعة رسوله ، فإن الفسق هو الخروج ، ومنه سميت الفأرة " فويسقة " لخروجها من جحرها للإفساد ، ويقال :" فسقت الرطبة " : إذا خرجت من أكمامها
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
