"أو مسكيناً ذا متربة"، قد لصق بالتراب من فقره وضره. وقال مجاهد عن ابن عباس: هو المطروح في التراب لا يقه شيء. و المتربة مصدر ترب يترب ترباً ومتربة، إذا افتقر.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
