Daarna zal tot degenen die onrecht pleegden worden gezegd: "Proeft de eeuwige bestraffing, jullie worden vergolden voor niets anders dan wat jullie plachten te bedrijven."

{ثُمَّ قِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا} حين يوفون أعمالهم يوم القيامة: {ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْخُلْدِ} أي: العذاب الذي تخلدون فيه، ولا يفتر عنكم ساعة. {هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ} من الكفر والتكذيب والمعاصي.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
