(Voor hen is er slechts) een genieting op de wereld, daarna is hun terugkeer tot Ons. Vervolgens doen Wij hen de harde bestraffing proeven wegens dat waaraan zij ongelovig plachten te zijn.

إنما يتمتعون في الدنيا بكفرهم وكذبهم متاعًا قصيرًا، ثم إذا انقضى أجلهم فإلينا مصيرهم، ثم نذيقهم عذاب جهنم بسبب كفرهم بالله وتكذيبهم رسل الله، وجحدهم آياته.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
