En hij (Nôeh) zei: "Ga aan boord, (en zeg:) "Bismillahi madjréha wa moersahâ" (In de Naam van Allah vaart zij haar koers en gaat zij voor anker.) Voorwaar, mijn Heer is zeker Vergevensgezind, Meest Barmbartig'.

{ وَقَالَ } نوح لمن أمره الله أن يحملهم: { ارْكَبُوا فِيهَا بِسْمِ اللَّهِ مَجْرَاهَا وَمُرْسَاهَا } أي: تجري على اسم الله، وترسو على اسم الله، وتجري بتسخيره وأمره. { إِنَّ رَبِّي لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ } حيث غفر لنا ورحمنا، ونجانا من القوم الظالمين.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
