Hij (Ya'q-ôeb) zei: "Ik zal hem niet aan jullie toevertrouwen, zoals ik jullie eerder zijn broeder aan jullie toevertrouwde. Allah is de beste Waker, en Hij is de Meest Barmhartige der Erbarmers."'

قال لهم أبوهم: كيف آمنكم على «بنيامين» وقد أمنتكم على أخيه يوسف من قبل، والتزمتم بحفظه فلم تفوا بذلك؟ فلا أثق بالتزامكم وحفظكم، ولكني أثق بحفظ الله، خير الحافظين وأرحم الراحمين، أرجو أن يرحمني فيحفظه ويرده عليَّ.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
