En aan Hem behoort wat er in de hemelen en (op) de aarde is en gehoorzaamheid behoort altijd aan Hem te zijn. Zullen jullie dan iemand anders dan Allah vrezen?

{ وَلَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الدِّينُ وَاصِبًا } أي: الدين والعبادة والذل في جميع الأوقات لله وحده على الخلق أن يخلصوه لله وينصبغوا بعبوديته. { أَفَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ تَتَّقُونَ } من أهل الأرض أو أهل السماوات فإنهم لا يملكون لكم ضرا ولا نفعا
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
