En toen hij van hen wegging en van wat zij naast Allah aanbaden, schonken Wij hem Ishâq en Ya'qôeb en Wij maakten leder van hen een Profeet.

( فلما اعتزلهم وما يعبدون من دون الله ) فذهب مهاجرا ( وهبنا له ) بعد الهجرة ( إسحاق ويعقوب ) آنسنا وحشته [ من فراقهم ] وأقررنا عينه ، بأولاد كرام على الله عز وجل ( وكلا جعلنا نبيا ) يعني : إسحاق ويعقوب .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
