En Wij stuurden niet één van de Boodschappers vóór jou, of Wij openbaarden aan hem dat er geen andere god dan Ik is, aanbidt Mij daarom.

( وما أرسلنا من قبلك من رسول إلا نوحي إليه ) قرأ حمزة والكسائي وحفص عن عاصم نوحي إليه بالنون وكسر الحاء على التعظيم ، لقوله ( وما أرسلنا ) وقرأ الآخرون بالياء وفتح الحاء على الفعل المجهول ، ( أنه لا إله إلا أنا فاعبدون ) وحدون .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
