Zij (de ongelovigen) zeggen zelfs: "Het verwardste gedroom is (deze Koran), hij verzon hem zelfs, hij is zelfs een dichter! Laat hem dan een Teken tot ons brengen zoals aan de voorafgaanden gezonden werd!"'

بل جحد الكفار القرآن فمِن قائل: إنه أخلاط أحلام لا حقيقة لها، ومن قائل: إنه اختلاق وكذب وليس وحيًا، ومن قائل: إن محمدًا شاعر، وهذا الذي جاء به شعر، وإن أراد منا أن نصدِّقه فليجئنا بمعجزة محسوسة كناقة صالح، وآيات موسى وعيسى، وما جاء به الرسل من قبله.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
