En Wij hielpen hem tegen het volk dat Onze Tekorten loochende. Voorwaar, zij waren een slecht volk. Toen deden Wij hen allen verdrinken.

ونصرناه من القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا قال أبو عبيدة : من بمعنى على . وقيل : المعنى فانتقمنا له من القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا . فأغرقناهم أجمعين أي الصغير منهم والكبير .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
