En hoeveel steden heb ik geen uitstel gegeven, terwijl zij onrecht pleegden, waarna Ik hen bestrafte. En tot Mij is de terugkeer.

قوله تعالى : وكأين من قرية أمليت لها وهي ظالمة ثم أخذتها وإلي المصيرقوله تعالى : وكأين من قرية أمليت لها أي أمهلتها مع عتوها . ثم أخذتها أي بالعذاب . وإلي المصير .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
