En Wij verdronken het volk van Nôeh toen zij de Boodschappers loochenden. En Wij maakten hen tot een teken voor de mensheid. En Wij hebben voor de onrechtplegers een pijnlijke bestraffing voorbereid.

وَاَعْتَدْنَا للظّٰلِمِیْنَ عَذَابًا اَلِیْمًا ”یعنی پیغمبروں کی تکذیب کرنے والی ان قوموں کو عذاب استیصال کی صورت میں نقد سزا تو دنیا ہی میں مل گئی تھی مگر اصل عذاب ابھی ان کا منتظر ہے۔ یہ عذاب انہیں آخرت میں ملے گا اور وہ بیحد تکلیف دہ ہوگا۔
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
