Maar zij loochenden hem, dus vernietigden Wij hen. Voorwaar, daarin is zeker een Teken, maar de meesten van hen waren gew gelovigen.

فكذبوه فأهلكناهم أي بريح صرصر عاتية على ما يأتي في ( الحاقة ) . إن في ذلك لآية وما كان أكثرهم مؤمنين قال بعضهم : أسلم معه ثلاثمائة ألف ومئون وهلك باقيهم .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
