En het woord zal hen treffen omdat zij onrecht pleegden, en zij spreken niet.

ووقع القول عليهم بما ظلموا أي وجب العذاب عليهم بظلمهم أي بشركهم . فهم لا ينطقون أي ليس لهم عذر ولا حجة . وقيل : يختم على أفواههم فلا ينطقون ; قاله أكثر المفسرين .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
