Toen deden Wij hem tot zijn moeder terugkeren, opdat haar oog verkoeld werd en zij niet bedroefd was, en opdat zij wist dat de belofte van Allah waar is. Maar de meesten van hen weten niet.

Je leest een tafsir voor de groep verzen 28:7tot 28:13
وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ (28:7) The word Wahy (inspiration) is used here in its literal meaning. It does not mean the Wahy that is peculiar to prophets. This point has already been explained under Surah Taha.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
