En Wij maakten hein leiders, die oproepen tot de Hel. En op de Dag der Opstanding zullen zij niet geholpen worden.

وجعلناهم أئمة أي جعلناهم زعماء يتبعون على الكفر ، فيكون عليهم وزرهم ووزر من اتبعهم حتى يكون عقابهم أكثر وقيل : جعل الله الملأ من قومه رؤساء السفلة منهم ، فهم يدعون إلى جهنم . وقيل : أئمة يأتم بهم ذوو العبر ويتعظ بهم أهل البصائر . يدعون إلى النار أي إلى عمل أهل النار ويوم القيامة لا ينصرون
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
