O Vrouwen van de Profeet, wie van jullie een duidelijke zedeloosheid begaat, die zal daarvoor een dubbele bestraffing ontvangen. En dat is voor Allah gemakkelijk.

لما اخترن اللّه ورسوله والدار الآخرة، ذكر مضاعفة أجرهن، ومضاعفة وزرهن وإثمهن، لو جرى منهن، ليزداد حذرهن، وشكرهن اللّه تعالى، فجعل من أتى منهن بفاحشة ظاهرة، لها العذاب ضعفين.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
