Op die Dag plaatsen Wij een zegel op hun monden, en hun handen zullen tot Ons spreken en hun voeten zullen getuigen over wat zij plachten te verrichten.

قال الله تعالى في بيان وصفهم الفظيع في دار الشقاء:{ الْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَى أَفْوَاهِهِمْ } بأن نجعلهم خرسا فلا يتكلمون، فلا يقدرون على إنكار ما عملوه من الكفر والتكذيب. { وَتُكَلِّمُنَا أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ } أي: تشهد عليهم أعضاؤهم بما عملوه، وينطقها الذي أنطق كل شيء.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
