Allah beschermde hen toen voor het slechte wat zij hadden beraamd, terwijl de ergste bestraffing Fir'aun en zijn volgelingen omsingelde.

وقوله [ تعالى ] : ( فوقاه الله سيئات ما مكروا ) أي : في الدنيا والآخرة ، أما في الدنيا فنجاه الله مع موسى - عليه السلام - وأما في الآخرة فبالجنة ( وحاق بآل فرعون سوء العذاب ) وهو : الغرق في اليم ، ثم النقلة منه إلى الجحيم .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
