(Wij zonden) Boodschappers als brengers van verheugende tijdingen en als waarschuwers opdat de mens geen excuus tegenover Allah zou hebben no de Boodschappers. En Allah is Almachtig, Alwijs.

أرسَلْتُ رسلا إلى خَلْقي مُبشِّرين بثوابي، ومنذرين بعقابي; لئلا يكون للبشر حجة يعتذرون بها بعد إرسال الرسل. وكان الله عزيزًا في ملكه، حكيمًا في تدبيره.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
