Voorzeker, er was voor jullie in hen een goed voorbeeld, voor wie op (de beloning van) Allah hoopt en op de Laatste Dag. Maar wie zich afwendt: voorwaar, Allah is de Behoefteloze, de Geprezene.

لقد كان لكم -أيها المؤمنون- في إبراهيم عليه السلام والذين معه قدوة حميدة لمن يطمع في الخير من الله في الدنيا والآخرة، ومن يُعْرِض عما ندبه الله إليه من التأسي بأنبيائه، ويوال أعداء الله، فإن الله هو الغنيُّ عن عباده، الحميد في ذاته وصفاته، المحمود على كل حال.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
