En dat was Ons argument dat Wij Ibrâhîm tegen zijn volk gaven, Wij verheffen met graden wie Wij willen: voorwaar, jouw Heer is Alwijs, Alwetend.

وتلك الحجة التي حاجَّ بها إبراهيم عليه السلام قومه هي حجتنا التي وفقناه إليها حتى انقطعت حجتهم. نرفع مَن نشاء من عبادنا مراتب في الدنيا والآخرة. إن ربك حكيم في تدبير خلقه، عليم بهم.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
