En zaait geen verderf op aarde na de verbetering ervan (door de aanwezigheid van de Profeet) en roept Hem aan, (Zijn bestraffing) vrezend en (Zijn Barmhartigheid) begerend. Voorwaar, Allah's Barmhartigheid is dicht bij de weldoeners.

ولا تُفْسدوا في الأرض بأيِّ نوع من أنواع الفساد، بعد إصلاح الله إياها ببعثة الرسل -عليهم السلام- وعُمْرانها بطاعة الله، وادعوه -سبحانه- مخلصين له الدعاء; خوفًا من عقابه ورجاء لثوابه. إن رحمة الله قريب من المحسنين.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
