Aguardam, acaso, outra sorte que não seja a de seus antecessores? Dize-lhes ainda: Aguardai, pois, que aguardareiconvosco.

وقوله : ( فهل ينتظرون إلا مثل أيام الذين خلوا من قبلهم ) أي : فهل ينتظر هؤلاء المكذبون لك يا محمد من النقمة والعذاب إلا مثل أيام الله في الذين خلوا من قبلهم من الأمم المكذبة لرسلهم ، ( قل فانتظروا إني معكم من المنتظرين)
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
