Foi-lhe dito: Ó Noé, desembarca, com a Nossa saudação e a Nossa bênção sobre ti e sobre os seres que (advirão doque) estão contigo. Porém, haverá povos, os quais (por um tempo) agraciaremos; logo, (depois) atingi-los-á o Nossodoloroso castigo.

{ قِيلَ يَا نُوحُ اهْبِطْ بِسَلَامٍ مِنَّا وَبَرَكَاتٍ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أُمَمٍ مِمَّنْ مَعَكَ } من الآدميين وغيرهم من الأزواج التي حملها معه، فبارك الله في الجميع، حتى ملأوا أقطار الأرض ونواحيها. { وَأُمَمٌ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ } في الدنيا { ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُمْ مِنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ } أي: هذا الإنجاء، ليس بمانع لنا من أن من كفر بعد ذلك، أحللنا به العقاب، وإن متعوا قليلا، فسيؤخذون بعد ذلك.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
