Porém, quando observou que suas mãos hesitavam em tocar o vitelo, desconfiou deles, sentindo-lhes temor. Disseram: Não temas, porque somos enviados contra o povo de Lot!

قوله تعالى : فلما رأى أيديهم لا تصل إليه نكرهم يقول : أنكرهم ; تقول : نكرتك وأنكرتك واستنكرتك إذا وجدته على غير ما عهدته ; قال الشاعر :وأنكرتني وما كان الذي نكرت من الحوادث إلا الشيب والصلعافجمع بين اللغتين . ويقال : نكرت لما تراه بعينك . وأنكرت لما تراه بقلبك .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
