فقال لموسى:{ فَمَا بَالُ الْقُرُونِ الْأُولَى } أي: ما شأنهم، وما خبرهم؟ وكيف وصلت بهم الحال، وقد سبقونا إلى الإنكار والكفر، والظلم، والعناد، ولنا فيهم أسوة؟
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
