E não cessou esta sua lamentação, até que os deixamos inertes, tal qual plantas segadas.

( فما زالت تلك دعواهم حتى جعلناهم حصيدا خامدين ) أي : ما زالت تلك المقالة ، وهي الاعتراف بالظلم ، هجيراهم حتى حصدناهم حصدا وخمدت حركاتهم وأصواتهم خمودا .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
