Deus conhece aqueles, dentre vós, que impedem os demais de seguirem o profeta, e dizem a seus irmãos: Ficai conosco!, e não vão à luta, a não ser para permanecerem por pouco tempo.

يخبر تعالى عن إحاطة علمه بالمعوقين لغيرهم عن شهود الحرب ، والقائلين لإخوانهم ، أي : أصحابهم وعشرائهم وخلطائهم ( هلم إلينا ) أي : إلى ما نحن فيه من الإقامة في الظلال والثمار ، وهم مع ذلك ( لا يأتون البأس إلا قليلا)
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
